To Present Cantata
The Church Choir of the First
Baptist Church will present the
Easter Cantata, “No Gre a t e r
Love,” by John Peterson in the
Morning Worship Services April 18.
This cantata tells the story of the
last week of our Lord on earth in
Scripture and song.
John Hausser, Minster of Music, will direct. Mrs. Howard Claiborne will be the organist, Mrs. Paul Frances the pianist, and Chester Coker the narrator.
Solo passages will be sung by Mrs. Martin Lee Beeler, Terry Ratdliff, Harrison Parrott Jr., and Emerson Heatherly. Other choir members singing the choral work are: Mrs. Alfred Sualsberry, Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. Damon Witt, Mrs. Paul Warren, Mrs. Herman Carroll, Mrs. Bill Deavours, Miss Nancy Parrott, Miss Karen Vinsant, Mrs. Edna Kennedy, Mrs. Terry Ratcliff, Mrs. George Wallace, Miss Glenda Hea t h e r 1 y, Charles Vinsant, James Ledbetter,
