FROM YOUR PASTOR’S DESK
I dedicate this article in appreciation cE our deacons. In two separate meetings, these servanta, set aside by the church to the task of ministry have decided they want to fulfill their role as deacons according to the New Testament Plan, So, this year we will be hearing a lot about our deacons ministry0 To be gin with. this will include two deacons who will serve the church as 1Deacons of the Week. This means they will seek and find areas of ministry, which will include visitation in the hospitals and convalesant homes to minister to the sick. They will minister to the elderly by visiting shut-ins each week They will minister to the lost, unconcerned and unenlisted in an effort to win them to faith in Christ, or lay on their heart a need for deeper com— xnitment, They will further be available to any individual or family who has special needs or who face crises. I hope our entire membership will feel free to call on these servants of God for assistance in any crisis or help in any need, Check your “Messenger” each week to know who is serving as “Deacons of the Week” and call on them for help in any area, spirit’ ual or physical.
