FROM YOUR PASTOR$ DESK:
As we approach this season of the year our thoughts and efforts are all cancentrated on giving. We are searching frantically for just the right gift for that special person.
As we prepare our gifts this year, let us remember with a new awareness the one whose birthday it is. It is He who said “Ge ye into all the world and preach the gospel to all xations..,.and lo I am with you always1 even unto the end of the world.’ So let us give generouiy to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering so the gospel may be preached around the worid. It was He who saidg “Lay not u treasures on earth.,, but lay up treasures in heaven,., for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also,No man can serve wo mascers,,, Ye cannot serve God and maxnon’. So let us recozmtit ourselves anew at this season to give our very best; the first fruits of our increase to Him to support His church. It was He who said: “Give and it shal be given to you; good measure, pressed down and shaken together and running over..0” So, if you are seeking a satisfactory return on your investments, then invest your money in Heavenly things by dedicating yourself to tithing next year0 Let us follow our leader in our giving this Christmas season; our leader who gave the last far thing even his life to purchase our salvation 0
See you in church Sunday, Bible in hand,
