Rev. Reynolds is at present - Pastor of the Concord Baptist Church, Brentwood,
Tennessee and comes to us on the invitation of our Pulpit Comittee.
Rev, Reynolds was employed by the National Life and Accident Company of
Nashville before entering the ministry at age 32. He served three years In the;
navy during World War II. He has pastored churches in Brentwood, Cookeyule,
Sparta, Memphis and is back at Concord Baptist Church for the second time, We
are delighted to have Rev. and Mrs. Reynolds with us so let’s welcome them and
honor them with our presence next Sunday morning.

The “Sounds of Joy” from the First baptist Church of Whitesburg, Tenn., will
present a musical program entitled Yester4, Te4ay and Tomorrow, at the Even— ing
Worship Service this Sunday, Feb. 23. This cung peop choi.r com— ped the program
on its own in an atteipt to ex— press how Christ for all time has influenced
thei lives. Director of the. choir is Randy Fowler, originally from Maryland who
is a Carson-Newman Religion major, preparing for the youth and education
ministry. Susan Davidson, pianist1 is a freshman at
C—N.
A light supper will follow in the Fellowship Hall, This is church—wide, so plan
to be present and bring a batch of sandwites salad or dessert0 Drinks will be
furnished by the church.
