ME1’S DAY
Nxt Sunday churches’ all over the Southern Baptist Convention will be
emphasizing MEN’S DAY in an effort to impress the men members of our
congregation with the Importance of Their church Involvement.
Men -- your church needs yout Really needs you. And, as you well know, you need
your church.
Please -- let no-thing under your control hinder you from being present Sunday.
We invite men to sing (or ‘ust stand) in the choir. We invite men to pack pews.
This emphasis in no way mm— imizes the influence of women, young people, boys
and girls to the churches’ ëi— lowship. We need all of our people, but, for this
Sunday, the focus is on
MEN.
So. ..men...come,.. Bring another. Encourage others to come.
I plead with you to respond to and become involved in this emphasis in the name
of, and for the sake of, The Christ to whom we have publicly declared our love
and loyalty. (Con’t nect Column)
For His glory let us- give
ourselves to making Sunday
a day to be remembered for
a long time.
