Then from the recesses of my mind loomed Carole Smith, She was a high-school friend I had poured my time and care into just as David is doing with his friend0 She did come to a party or two after much persuasion, but kept urging her to attend Bible Study and worship activities0 Her excuses, too? were wild,,
We graduated and werE our separate ways0 We lost contact. Ten years later I received some good news in a letter from mother0 “An old friend of yours came to church today0 You graduated the same year0 She spoke highly of you and mentioned how you encouraged her years ago arid that’s why she came to our church0 Do you remember Carole Sm±th? She brought her three children and also her younger sister0”

Miss Beulah Peoples, Tennessee Baptist Womens and Young Womens Director, will be in our Association Tuesday, Oct. 14, 10:00 am, at First Baptist Church of LaFollette, This will be the only chance for two years to have a state WMU worker in our Association We trust everyone will take advantage of this opportunity for the help Miss Peoples can be to us,
