The Great Commission
19. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost:,
20. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have
commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the
world. Amen (Matt. 28:19=20, King James)
Mission Committee:
The package came yesterday. Sorry I have not
got on my email until now. The anniversary of Katrina has lots of
services and things going on. I appreciate the donations your church
made to Friendship House and I appreciate all the prayers for my city as
it rebuilds. Thanks for being a part of our ministry and helping us to
rebuild peoples lives. Please know how much we appreciate you.

Dear Mission Committee:
We received the supplies from FBC LaFollette yesterday. We are so
grateful and touched that you picked us for support. Yes, the supplies
have come in at a much needed time and we are looking forward to using
them as ministry tools in Clarkston.
Please keep us in your prayers as we reach out to the lost.
God bless you and your church,

Dear Church Family:
Thank you for being so generous in your giving of supplies and gift
cards to our Christmas in August project. A large box was shipped to
each missionary this week and should be received Friday, August 25. You
were very generous in your monetary and gift card donations to Helen
Wilson and she is very appreciative of every kindness extended to her.
Please continue to remember her and her husband as she continues to
recuperate from her broken ankle.

HUMAN NEEDS
Courage we need for this life of ours,
Courage, calmness, power;
Glee in the present which children own,
Hope for the coming hour.
Underneath, and all the time,
A warm pulse, beating
To Nature's beauty, loved one's rhythm,
The springtime urge repeating.
What will give us courage deep,
Joy in the things that are?
The true and lasting love of friends
For us, will go most far.
Madeline Benedict
Our Church family met this "human need" and your
true love that was and is being shown to us will "go most far." We have
been blessed in so many ways.
With Sincere thanks!
love, Jack & Dorathy
